Want to see more of the sites you love? Google’s got you covered.
Earlier this month, the tech juggernaut launched “preferred sources,” a new feature that “lets you customize your experience to see more from your favorite sites within Top Stories.”
According to Google, “you can select your favorite sources and stay up to date on the latest content from the sites you follow and subscribe to — whether that’s your favorite sports blog or a local news outlet.”
Here’s how to add USA TODAY to your “preferred sources.”
Google’s ‘preferred sources’ feature explained
Launched on Aug. 12, the feature allows you to curate i.e., filter your news experience by source preference.
Any time you run a query, or a keyword through the search engine, with say USA TODAY as the preferred source, then you’ll only see the latest content about the topic from USA TODAY. (The same goes for any other news site.)
According to Google, you can add, or change your preferred sources any time.
“When you select your preferred sources, you’ll start to see more of their articles prominently displayed within Top Stories, when those sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search,” Google said.

Adding USA TODAY to your “preferred sources” is easy. You can either use this shortcut or follow these steps:
