Both ladies are now following each other online again
GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion have smoothed things over after a Tory Lanez song seemed to come between them.
On Wednesday, May 21, fans noticed that the Houston rapper, 30, and the 25-year-old “Yeah Glo!” artist were no longer following each other on social media.
The revelation came just moments after GloRilla reposted a quote to her Instagram Stories about being “grateful.”
However, attached to the post was the song “Y.D.L.R.” by 32-year-old Lanez — who is currently serving prison time after being convicted of shooting Megan in her feet in a 2020 incident.
Blogs and eagle-eyed fans quickly brought attention to GloRilla seemingly supporting her friend’s abuser, with the “Savage” rapper appearing to also take notice.

“Megan deleted glorilla birthday post,” one post on X read, alleging that Thee Stallion wiped her social media clean of anything associated with GloRilla.
Before the situation could spiral out of control any further, the “F.N.F.” rapper sent out another post.
“Ion internet s— and I don’t do mess! It was an innocent repost yall bsn,” GloRilla tweeted Wednesday evening.
Though she did not directly make any mention of Megan Thee Stallion in her tweet, the close friends — who have also collaborated on songs “Wanna Be” and “How I Look” — are now following each other again on their social media accounts.

GLoRilla’s response
Just one day before GloRilla shared the Instagram Story post with Lanez’s song, Megan referred to him as a “demon” in a May 20 TikTok post after Unite the People, his legal team, claimed that there was new evidence proving that he didn’t shoot Megan, claiming someone else was responsible.
“At what point are yall gonna stop making me have to re live being shot BY TORY !? At what point are Tory and yall FANS gonna stop lying ? Like how much is the check to keep harassing me?” she began her post, referring to fans of the rapper who have denied he pulled the trigger.
She continued: “One min him/ yall said I was never shot now yall letting him play in yall face AGAIN and say I was shot but it wasn’t him oh ok… ?!”
As her post continued, Megan also asked: “How yall mad at the person that got shot ????”

Lanez’s legal team claimed in a May 14 press conference that their new evidence included a bodyguard for one of Megan’s friends allegedly overhearing the individual say Lanez was not responsible for shooting the three-time Grammy winner.
“Tory Lanez was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers and his case was properly adjudicated through the court system. This is not a political matter — this is a case of a violent assault that was resolved in the court of law,” Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, told XXL in a statement on May 15.
