While traveling to Big Sky, Montana, the 37-year-old actress and her family shared images of their row of airplane seats. Just in front of them, they saw Duff on a screen: the actress, sporting her iconic blunt bangs and high ponytail, as her classic and beloved Disney Channel character, Lizzie McGuire.

Headphones on and clutching her iPad, the little girl in front of them sat quietly as she intently watched the early 2000s show.
“Cute girl in front of me just watchin some Lizzie — not a clue I was sitting behind her,” Duff wrote on her Instagram Stories. Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, filmed the sweet moment and shared the clip to his account first.

Duff starred in the two-season Disney Channel series and its follow-up feature film, in which she played 13-year-old Lizzie as she navigated junior high.
After getting off the plane, Koma shared photos from Montana, including of their children — including daughters Banks Violet and Mae James — running around in their bathing suits, Banks enjoying a milkshake, a family hike and a mother-daughter matching cowboy boots moment.

Meanwhile, Duff also shared a few selfies with her children, and a sweet snap of herself and Koma sharing a kiss in the outdoors at Montage Big Sky.

Additionally, Duff posted a photo of her friend group’s reunion in Montana. She and six other women posed with big smiles for the “plans that made it out of the group chat and into the mountains,” the post read.
