It’s been almost 25 years since Gilmore Girls premiered, and fans still can’t get enough of the show. That was proven recently when two fan-favorite cast members teamed up for an event.
Scott Patterson (Luke) used Instagram to reveal that he and Sean Gunn (Kirk) were having a second event in Raleigh, North Carolina. Set to the iconic theme song of Gilmore Girls, Patterson shared a photo and video of the two of them at another fan meet-and-greet.

The comments section of the Instagram post was filled with Gilmore Girls fans expressing their feelings about seeing the dynamic duo of Luke and Kirk together again.
“AHHH LUKE AND KIRK. I REPEAT: LUKE AND KIRK!!! 😭❤️,” wrote a fan.
One fan stated, “Nooo wayyy kirk and luke hahahaha ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” while a different person shared, “Luke and Kirk – love!”

Yet another joked about Luke still wearing the baseball cap Lorelai (Lauren Graham) gave him on the show. “Legend says Luke still wears the blue cap 🧢 Lorelai gave him @scottgordonpatterson Lol! Kirk & Luke reunion 😮,” shared the fan.
The Luke and Kirk reunion comes hot on the heels of the news that Gilmore Girls is headed to Hallmark. As Parade reported, the hit show has found a new home, ready to celebrate Gilmore Girls’ 25th anniversary this fall.
