Gigi Hadid Gives Fans A Rare Look At Her Life With Daughter Khai

Gigi Hadid is embracing the slow, scenic moments of motherhood, and letting fans in on the journey.

The 29-year-old supermodel took to Instagram Friday evening, posting a series of rare snapshots for her 77 million followers that included a glimpse of life with her 4-year-old daughter Khai, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik.

Though Gigi Hadid continues to protect Khai’s privacy by not revealing her face online, the heartfelt photo dumps captured the duo enjoying a serene bike ride through the woods as the snow gave way to spring.

In one carousel post, Hadid wrote, “I’m sorry I dump quarterly I think it’s just how my brain works lol. This is what we did while the snow melted …” She followed it with a second set of images captioned, “(pt 2/2) One way ticket to Taurus szn plsss.”

While Hadid has long been careful about shielding Khai from the spotlight, she opened up about her boundaries in her recent Vogue cover story. “I don’t think it would be fully genuine to post nothing of Khai,” she explained. “But I also don’t want to put anything up that would take away from her privacy and her peace.”

The Guest In Residence founder also shared her current mindset around social media, admitting that her relationship with it has shifted over time.

“I am grateful for social media, and the ways that it has connected me to the world. I wouldn’t have the same career without it,” she said. “My Instagram is like snail mail. If you follow me, you have to be patient, life has to load.… It’s different from how socials felt when I was younger. It doesn’t come as naturally to me as it did when Instagram started.”

Hadid also opened up about how she and Malik navigate co-parenting, revealing that the two maintain a detailed and flexible schedule for their daughter. “Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance,” she said. “That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.”

She added that their current dynamic is rooted in mutual care and teamwork: “love, and a feeling of camaraderie.”

Hadid and Malik dated on and off for six years, with the model even starring in his 2016 music video for “Pillow Talk.” Since their split, both have focused on parenting and new paths.
