If you’ve been itching to watch an eclectic group of wealthy tourists abscond to a luxurious remote destination again, then you’re in luck. The second season of Nine Perfect Strangers premiered today on Hulu.
Based on the best-selling novel by Australian author Liane Moriarty (also the writer of Big Little Lies), the show follows Nicole Kidman as Masha Dmitrichenko, an enigmatic founder and director of a secluded wellness retreat. A former high-powered executive who survived a near-fatal incident, Masha reinvents herself as a spiritual guide, offering transformative experiences to her guests…with some unorthodox treatments. And this season trades the bucolic hills of Northern California for the snowy auberge in the Austrian Alps.
