Acorn TV’s Harry Wild stars Jane Seymour in her first regular TV role since her turn as the titular character in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Harry Wild was such a runaway hit that the streaming platform quickly picked up a second and third season and most recently gave the green light for Season 4.
The actress and her co-stars on Harry Wild, made the announcement from Mackinac Island, Michigan during a Harry Wild Mystery Weekend. Seymour is no stranger to the picturesque island. She filmed Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve in 1979 at The Grand Hotel where the event took place.

What is Harry Wild about?
Harriet “Harry” Wild (Seymour) is a retired literature professor who discovers a second calling as a private investigator. Jolted by a mugging, she reluctantly agrees to recover in the home of her son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan), a senior police detective in the Dublin Garda. Harry starts to interfere in a particularly baffling murder case her son is investigating when she notices the murder shares striking similarities to an obscure Elizabethan play. When her path crosses again with that of her mugger, Fergus (Rohan Nedd), Harry enlists him as her sidekick instead of turning him in.
Following her successful, albeit ill-advised, involvement in the case, Harry’s new passion brings her into direct conflict with Charlie, who could really do without his mother causing trouble at work.

Harry Wild is filmed entirely in Dublin, Ireland and the surrounding area.

Yes! Harry Wild has delivered for Acorn TV so the streamer returned the favor by ordering a fourth season! The Season 2 premiere was its most successful premiere week in the history of the streamer and the first season of Harry Wild was the most watched season of any show on the platform.

What will happen in Season 4 of Harry Wild?
Season 4 picks up a year after Season 3, and business couldn’t be better at the Wild/Reid Detective Agency as Harry (Seymour) and Fergus (Nedd) welcome an unexpected client: Charlie Wild (Ryan). Elsewhere, Harry is hired by a friend and former wild child turned nun, Lola (Rose O’Neill) stumbles upon a dance school mystery, a Dublin literary tour takes a bloody turn and more. Meanwhile, Fergus’ hopes of going to college at the same time as Lola are threatened when she gets an incredible offer to study abroad.
How many episodes will there be in Season 4 of Harry Wild?
The first season of Harry Wild contained eight episodes. Season 2 and 3 both contained six episodes. Season 4 will also have six episodes. They are:
Episode 401 “Heads, I Win, Tails, You Lose”
Harry and Fergus take on a disturbing case – a serial killer targeting random victims and leaving a coin in their mouths. Meanwhile, Harry B asks a reluctant Harry to travel the world and Fergus plans to attend college with Lola.
Episode 402 “For Whom the Bell Tolls”
Harry and Fergus travel to the convent of a silent order of nuns after an old friend asks Harry to investigate a suspicious suicide, believing foul play is afoot. Elsewhere, a familiar face provides a very welcome surprise.
Episode 403 “Hold Your Horses, We’ve a Killer to Catch”
A fun day at the races for Harry and Fergus ends in tragedy when a racehorse throws its jockey from the saddle. Harry B discovers the horse was sabotaged and insists the owner, his father, Duncan, is responsible fo the crime.
Episode 404 “Murder on the Dance Floor”
After two performers go missing from a dance school, Orla and Lola persuade Harry to investigate.
Episode 405 “The Death of Harry Wild”
Harry and Fergus investigate when Harry’s look-alike is pushed from a balcony at a convention.
Episode 406 “The Final Chapter”
Harry and Fergus are thrust into the middle of a literature-themed mjurder plot.
When will Season 4 of Harry Wild premiere?
Season 4 of Harry Wild will premiere with two episodes on Monday, May 5 on Acorn TV. Episodes will drop weekly thereafter on Mondays.
Meet the cast of Harry Wild
Jane Seymour (Harriet “Harry” Wild)
Harry is a recently retired literature professor who finds herself solving local crimes in her retirement.
The seemingly ageless Jane Seymour, 73, is best known for her years as the titular character in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and in the cult favorite film, Somewhere in Time opposite the late Christopher Reeve. A multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner, Seymour also serves as an executive producer on the series.

Rohan Nedd (Fergus Reid)
An otherwise nice chap, Fergus gets entangled with Harry when he tries to mug her. Instead of turning him in, she enlists his help and the two become an unlikely crime-solving duo.
Nedd is known for his roles on Whistable Pearl and Safe. He has also appeared on Doctor Who and Midsomer Murders.
Fun fact: Rohan Nedd turned 30 las year (Nov. 17 to be precise), but looks so young that even his co-stars forget he’s not 16!
Kevin Ryan (Charlie)
Charlie is Harry’s police detective son who is at times both in awe and exasperated by his mother. Ryan has appeared on Days of Our Lives, Copper, The Blacklist and Once Upon a Time.
Amy Huberman (Orla)
Orla is Charlie’s wife and while she mainly stays on the sidelines between mother and son, she does get into it when need be. Huberman is one-part of a power couple in Ireland. She’s is married to Ireland rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll. The multi-hyphenate is not only an actor but also a writer. Her debut novel, Hello Heartbreak, was published in 2009. In March 2025, she launched a line of wine called Ah Wines.
Rose O’Neill (Lola)
Lola is the daughter of Charlie and Orla. This is O’Neill’s first professional television role. She also appears in an episode of Sherlock & Daughter.
