Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Steve Burton (Jason) have addressed a behind-the-scenes change at General Hospital. The two stars have been on the ABC soap long enough to know that nothing stays the same.
General Hospital has recently experienced a slew of cast exits, including Sofia Mattsson opting to leave as Sasha. AsParade reported, Burton touched on the part that Tristan Rogers (Robert) played in helping Mattsson exit the canvas, while giving an update on Rogers’ health amid his cancer battle.

On their podcast, That’s Awesome with Steve and Bradford, the guys talked about the off-charts chemistry between Mattsson and newbie Rory Gibson (Michael), which led to a bit of a tease for fans.
“I just thought the chemistry between them was awesome,” Burton expressed, adding, “We’ll see.” Bradford chimed in to give his two cents, “Anything can happen. Totally.”
After her exit, Mattsson revealed that she’s open to returning to Port Charles someday, but not right now.
There have been a lot of unexpected changes happening on the ABC soap over the past few months.Kirsten Storms (Maxie) is on her way out as Maxie, with her last scenes airing soon, while Kelly Thiebaud (Brit) and Kathleen Gati (Liesl) are back on-screen.
Plus, soap legend Erika Slezakwill make her General Hospital debut in the fall.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
