John Stamos recently had the thrill of a lifetime joining Willie Nelson on stage at the Hollywood Bowl for the Outlaw Country Festival’s 10th anniversary.
The Full Housestar shared a multi-panel post on Instagram on May 17 to document the experience, captioning the post, “Amazing night playing percussion with the great @willienelsonofficial@hollywoodbowl.”

While that may have been Stamos’ first time playing with Nelson, it’s not his first time playing the Hollywood Bowl. The actor/musician often performs with the Beach Boys and was on hand, singing and playing guitar and drums, during the legendary band’s stand at the iconic venue on July 2-4, 2023.
Fans and even some of his famous friends weighed in on Stamos’ post, which also included a still photo of the Full House star posing with Nelson as well as videos of the performance and backstage photos.

Stamos wasn’t the only star joining Nelson onstage. In one video clip, Machine Gun Kelly—now known simply as mgk–was seen shaking some maracas.
