Freddie Prinze Jr. knows exactly how to keep Sarah Michelle Gellar happy!

On Tuesday, April 29, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum, 48, used social media to show off a closet (and a pair of shoes) that could make even Carrie Bradshaw envious.

“Who needs Mr Big?!? Esp when I have @realfreddieprinze 🥂 to my newly built closet. 👠 👜,” Gellar captioned a single Instagram photo.

Her words were a reference to a scene in the 2008 Sex and the City movie where Sarah Jessica Parker’s character is surprised with a huge, handcrafted closet, courtesy of her boyfriend Mr. Big (played by Chris Noth).

In the film, Carrie and Big enter the custom closet after a shopping outing.

After gleefully inspecting the space, she sets her bags down, pulls out a box and reveals a single pair of Manolo Blahniks that she sits on a shelf.

For Gellar’s post Monday, she mimicked the movie, adding a single pair of the designer shoe to a shelf in the newly built closet.

The Dexter: Original Sin actress has known the man behind the brand for decades. In September 2006, she was photographed with Manolo Blahnik at Bergdorf Goodman 5th Ave in New York City.

She spoke of their meeting during a February 2008 interview with Radar, as reported by Observer.

“One day, a couple friends and I went into Bergdorf just to get out of the rain,” Gellar recalled.

“A man who works there, who I know, he said, ‘Mr. Blahnik is here signing autographs and doing sketches. You have to come meet him. And there was this big line of women, and I thought, ‘This is going to be so embarrassing, he’s going to have absolutely no idea who I am!’ So I’m waiting for this blank look from him, and he’s like [imitating his Spanish accent], ‘It’s Sarah Michelle! I love the Buffy!’ He was so lovely. He sketched a shoe and signed it, and it actually hangs in my closet,” she said of their first encounter.

Throughout the years, she’s remained as dedicated as ever to fashion.

Last month, the Cruel Intentions star spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her candid and relatable fashion mantra.

“I think that there was a time when I worried so much about what was trendy and what people would think of how I looked in it, and I think now, I’m more invested in myself and wanting to try things that are different,” she said. “And I think it’s been successful for me lately.”

“I’ve been going outside of my comfort zones, which is rare, I think, at my age,” Gellar told PEOPLE. “But I don’t know, maybe there’s a confidence that comes with age?”
