Former Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev is showing off his transformation after getting a hair transplant — and some fans barely recognized him!
“My daily routine after [the] hair restoration that I got done is absolutely carefree. That’s the best way I can say it,” Chigvintsev said in a video posted to Instagram. “There is not one second of the day that I think that I want to do something to it.”
The ballroom pro went on to say that he spent years trying to style his hair in a way that would mask his receding hairline.

“Now that the hair restoration is done, I’m extremely happy with the result,” he added.
Fans took to the comments section of the post to react to Chigvintsev’s new look.
“WOW, I almost didn’t recognize you. You look great. Good for you and keep being the amazing father to Matteo,” one person wrote.
“Looks so good! Thanks for sharing the journey with us,” someone else said.
“He looks so different i almost didn’t recognize him,” a third comment read.
“Looks so good Artem and good for your raising awareness that men can seek out things to feel better too. Keep showing up and looking amazing! The people who care will cheer and the haters will squirm!!!” a fourth Instagram user added.
As for what’s next for Chigvintsev, a source previously told Parade that he will not be competing on Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.

“He won’t be on Dancing With the Stars this season,” our source said, “but he is working by teaching at conventions and things like that.”
The new season of DWTS kicks off in September, with the full cast announcement coming on September 3.
