Thirty years ago, Devon Sawa melted the hearts of schoolgirls everywhere, and now he’s doing it again as we celebrate the anniversary of Casper.
Recently, Sawa shared a photo of himself celebrating the movie’s major milestone. In it, he wore a Casper baseball cap and a mustache, which completely changed his look.
Now, we’re getting back to his teen heartthrob roots, because Pop Funko has immortalized Sawa’s breakout role. In it, he admittedly had 45 seconds of actual screen-time with two different toys—one of Casper the Ghost, and another, much rarer version from the movie that depicts Sawa as Chase.
The upcoming Casper collection was shared on the official Funko Instagram page with the caption, “30 years later and he’s still my #1 boo 👻 Reunite this friendly phantom with his real-world favorites as they join your Casper collection! #Funko#FunkoPOP#Casper.”

When fans order a Casper collectible, there is a 1 in 6 chance of getting Sawa’s character, Chase, instead.
Fans of the movie classic can also order a Kat Harvey (Christina Ricci) version, Casper in a chef’s hat, or the Ghostly Trio 3-pack.
Casper fans can’t wait to get their hands on these collectibles, with one saying, “I want Casper in human form so bad!”
Another used Sawa’s famous line when Casper appeared in human form, writing, “Can I keep you?”
Movie fans certainly can keep their own Funko Pop figures once the collectibles, which are marked “coming soon,” become available.
