We’re getting down to the nitty gritty on Farmer Wants a Wife.
Farmer Matt Warren, Farmer Jay Woods, Farmer John Sansone and Farmer Colton Hendricks head out on their final solo dates of the Fox hit’s third season. The outings are meant to help provide clarity for the four leading men, as they get closer to narrowing down their respective final two contenders.
Some men were confident about how they needed to move forward, and with whom they wanted to do so. However, one farmer, in particular, left their date with more questions than answers.

After Farmers Go on Their Final Solo Dates, 1 Realizes He Needs to End a Connection
The four leads set out on fun-filled final dates on the Texas ranch where they had all been camping. Farmer John took Claire roping, and the pair discussed their many differences, including their religious beliefs. Still, Claire was “open” to exploring religion despite not being religious like John, who also called himself “very traditional.”
When Farmer Matt took Chelsi axe-throwing, Chelsi said she “really appreciated” him confessing his feelings for her during the group camping trip. The pair also bonded over how they “get each other,” with Matt separately telling the cameras he can “see things really happening for us.”
And as Farmer Colton took Keeley horseback riding, she disclosed her Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis and noted how it’s “a big part of my life.” Keeley also revealed that there’s a high chance she could experience infertility. To that, Colton — who is already a father of one — said he was “genuinely okay with it” and “not worried” about the possibility of her infertility.

Lastly, Farmer Jay went fishing with his mom’s pick Rissa, and they eventually had a serious talk about their many differences. Rissa is interested in traveling, while Jay would rather be stationary due to his farm, noting that he needs to be close by in case something goes awry.

“I am more of a homebody. It’s so hard to travel just because you’ve got so much going on on the farm. You’ve got animals to take care of,” said Jay, noting later to the cameras that while he doesn’t want Rissa to “change for me,” but feels that “if it’s going to be a problem now, it’s going to be a problem later.”
From there, Jay then told Rissa, “I don’t want to have to make somebody ave to confirm or change to my ways. You want them to be who they are. I feel like it would be better if we just kind of end it right here.”
“[You’re a] beautiful person, beautiful lady, inside and out,” Jay added. “I know you’ll find the right person for you.”
Rissa understood his decision, telling the cameras that Jay “knows his farm more than me” and “can decipher better” if she would “be a good fit.”
Farmer John Loses 1 Dater After Solo Outing with Another Because She Wasn’t Made a Priority
As Farmer John enjoyed his solo date with Claire, his fellow contender Juliana spoke with host Kimberly Williams-Paisley about where their heads are out. Juliana, who was John’s mother’s pick, admitted that she was “a little bit conflicted on what to do” with John since he didn’t have any “urgency” to choose her for the final solo date. But host Kimberly advised that “it might be worth sticking out just to see how that date goes.”
As they all returned to the farm, John approached Juliana the next morning to catch up with her. John asked how Juliana was doing, and she noted how everything was “getting more, like, serious for everyone,” including for him. “Right now, reality is, I did come in late and we don’t know each other. We haven’t had time,” she said.
Given how “the cards have played out” for her in their situation, Juliana concluded: “The right decision for me is to leave.”
“I think that would be fair to who you have left and what you would like to do,” she added, and Matt then told the cameras he appreciated how “honest” she was with him.

Elsewhere, Farmer Matt opted to cut Halleh upon returning to his farm, which comes after the previous accusations surrounding them possibly connecting secretly off-camera. He felt there was a “spark” with Halleh, but that she’s been “kind of like a friend.”
As the pair chat one-on-one later, Matt admitted that he’s “not there” with Halleh. “I don’t want to be, like, unfair to you,” he said, also noting how he will “miss” her and she’s “always welcome” to visit his farm.
Farmer Colton Tells His Ladies He’s ‘Indecisive,’ and 1 Dater Chooses to Quit as a Result
Farmer Colton had a fireside catch-up with his remaining women. Though things were going smoothly, a shift occurred after he expressed some hesitancy about his next steps.
“I’ve had a great time with all of y’all,” he said. “It’s definitely a weird thing to think about, like, what my life could be with each one of y’all. I don’t know. They all seem good. They all seem really good. But it’s just like, which one?”

This revelation was alarming for Bailee, who didn’t love that he was “unsure” about his final three and “doesn’t have an answer.” So, she pulled him aside to tell him, while tearing up, how she desires “to be wanted” and doesn’t feel like she’s “getting that here.” To that, Colton said, “I totally understood.”

“I can’t choose between the three of you right now. I’m so damn indecisive,” he confessed. “If I was in your shoes, I would probably be fed up with it as well.”
Colton noted that there were “a lot of things about you that I really like, but I still haven’t made up my mind.” Bailee, however, said she loves herself “enough to be like, you know what, if you’re still unsure, it would just be best for me to send myself home.'”
“I get it,” Colton adds, and Bailee leaves from there, telling the cameras, “I am not what Colton is looking for and he is not what I need.”
