Fans Urge People To Stop Trolling Tracy Morgan Amid Ill Health

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan caused a delay at the NBA game between the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

The game was paused with six minutes and nine seconds left to play in the third quarter after the actor took ill and threw up.

Since then, pictures and videos of Morgan throwing up and being wheeled out of the court have dominated social media, with many fans calling for people to stop making fun of him.

Morgan is usually present during most New York Knicks games and was there when they faced the Miami Heat on Monday night.

He sat at his regular courtside seat next to MSG Network broadcasters and seemed to be enjoying the game.

However, the “Saturday Night Live” star took ill in the second half of the game and started throwing up. This caused an interruption, leading to a delay in the game.

According to the Associated Press, workers quickly rushed to Morgan’s seat to clean the area around it amid the over 10-minute delay. Afterward, the 56-year-old was taken out of MSG in a wheelchair.

Several images and videos have since been shared on social media showing the moment Morgan threw up and when he was wheeled out of the venue.

One of the clips showed paramedics attending to Morgan and helping him get into the wheelchair.

As they wheeled the “30 Rock” star out, he wiped his face with a white towel and seemed to be bleeding from his nostrils, as seen by the blood stains on the towel.

After Morgan left the venue, the game continued, with the Knicks posting a wide-margin 116-95 victory over the Heat.

Knicks forward Josh Hart expressed concern for Morgan while speaking to the press after the win.

He said, “First and foremost, obviously we hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan. Avid, lifetime Knick fan so prayers go out to him and his health and safety.”

Several reactions have trailed Morgan falling sick at the Heat-Knicks game, with many fans expressing concern for the actor.

However, some people poked fun at the comedian for throwing up during the game, which many netizens didn’t like, and they took turns slamming those who did.

One person recalled that Morgan had been dealing with several health problems for a long time and urged people to behave better.

They wrote, “Tracy Morgan has been battling health problems for over a decade. We’re not going to laugh at him for getting ill at the Knicks game. Do better.”

Another fan echoed similar sentiments, writing, “We are in an age where viruses and illness has destroyed lives, yet people are going to mock Tracy Morgan for vomiting. I feel like the entire country is stuck in second grade mentality. Get well soon, Tracy.”

A third fan shared, “Tracy Morgan has a variety of health issues and I for one don’t appreciate people dunking on him for vomiting on the court at MSG. He could be dealing with a serious medical issue. Plus emitophobes like me got assaulted with that godawful photo. That fan should be ashamed.”
