Keke Palmer shared an update with fans on Aug. 17, revealing how excited she was for her upcoming birthday and showing off her stunning new haircut in casual photos.
In the photos shared to Instagram, Palmer posed for the camera in a car and in what looked to be a hotel hallway, putting her new hair on display. The actress and singer debuted the new pixie cut, which is a big departure from the long hair she has been rocking lately. She decided to stay with the same ginger color.
Palmer’s flawless skin was glowing in the makeup-free look, and she captioned the post, “My birthday is just around the corner… ♍️💕.”

Palmer has been experiencing great success in her career lately, with the 31-year-old releasing a new album called Just Keke in June of this year. She also has a slew of acting projects on the way, including the movie Good Fortune starring Keanu Reeves and Aziz Ansari and the highly anticipated Spaceballs 2 film.
