Momoa almost stole the show earlier this month with his MC duties at the Back To The Beginning concert when a clip of him joining the mosh pit at Villa Park in Birmingham, England went viral. The concert took place on July 5, and it was the first time Ozzy had performed with his former bandmates in 20 years. Momoa was tapped to host the event, reportedly through his friendship with Sharon Osbourne.
It was obviously one of the most meaningful moments in Osbourne’s very full life, and his last Instagram post before his passing was remembering the concert. On Monday, July 21, Osbourne’s Instagram page featured a black and white promotional photo of Black Sabbath in a backstage hallway. The photo was posted without a caption.
RIP, Ozzy. The world truly did lose a great one.
