You’ll soon be able to drink like Peter Griffin: The Drunken Clam from the animated series ‘Family Guy’ is coming to Boston this summer.

Starting July 18, the restaurant West End Johnnies in Boston will transform into The Drunken Clam, complete with its neon sign and iconic booth. It will offer signature cocktails, an “Eat My Junk” food menu, “Family Guy”-themed trivia and karaoke.

“Peter and the guys have made thousands of dumb decisions at The Drunken Clam on ‘Family Guy.’ This is your chance to make a few dumb decisions of your own!” said executive producers Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin in a press release.

The “interactive bar experience” is coming alive thanks to Bucketlisters, a travel media company where people can find and book events. The company has already hosted Drunken Clam events in Los Angeles and Houston.

“Bucket Listers is stoked to continue bringing the world of ‘Family Guy’ to life,” says Bucket Listers President of Experiences Derek Berry. “Just call us an experiential Voltron.”

What is ‘Family Guy?’

‘Family Guy’ is an animated comedy series that follows the adventures of the Griffin family. “Endearingly ignorant Peter” and his wife Lois have three kids — social outcast Meg, awkward Chris, and baby genius Stewie — as well as a talking dog, Brian. Comedian Seth MacFarlane, of Rhode Island, is the creator and lead voice actor.

Where will The Drunken Clam be?

In ‘Family Guy,’ The Drunken Clam is located in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island.

But this pop-up will be taking over West End Johnnies at 138 Portland St. in Boston, Massachusetts.

When can you visit The Drunken Clam?

The Drunken Clam will open Friday, July 18, and last for an unspecified limited time. Those who want to go can purchase tickets starting June 11.

Food and drinks at The Drunken Clam

The Drunken Clam pop-up will offer an “Eat My Junk” food menu with “creative twists on classic moments from the show,” like the Good Old Fashioned Value Burger and Greased Up Deaf Fries. It was created by Becky Brown, a winner of the show Chopped.

Signature cocktails will include:

  • The No No Noooo (reposado tequila, watermelon, lemon, agave and tajin)

  • Shut Up Meg (infused gin, honey, lemon and thyme)

  • The Evil Monkey (tequila, cassis berry, jalapeño tincture, lime and Topo Chico)

  • Cool Whip (vodka, espresso blend, Mr. Black and whipped cream)

  • Pewterschmidt Industries (bonded bourbon, peach liqueur, lime, basil and Topo Chico)

How much does it cost

Tickets to The Drunken Clam start at $18, which includes a welcome cocktail or mocktail.

Additional food and drinks, as well as merchandise, will be available for purchase, according to the press release.
