EXCLUSIVE PICS: Democrat Bigwigs Hobnob At Ritzy Soros Wedding On ‘No Kings’ Day

While thousands of liberals and left-wingers protested President Donald Trump’s agenda across the country on Saturday, many top Democrats were celebrating the lavish wedding of former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin and Alex Soros, the son of left-wing megadonor George Soros.

An attendee at the event told the Daily Caller News Foundation that big-name guests included former Vice President Kamala Harris, Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York and Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California. Failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also attended the wedding and delivered remarks, The New York Times reported.

The wedding celebration was held at a Soros family estate in the Hamptons, an upscale area of Long Island, New York. Pictures of the festivities obtained by the DCNF show an elegant dining area housed under a large tent, as well as evidence that the estate’s grounds were in tip-top shape for the weekend’s celebration. Guests at the opulent affair dined on truffle agnolotti, chilled pea soup, Wagyu bavette and grilled prawns, the NYT reported. While Democrat elites and other guests enjoyed the celebrations in the Hamptons, which the NYT described as “something of a political royal wedding,” liberals and left-wingers took to the streets Saturday to partake in the anti-Trump “No Kings” protests, which were organized in part by the Soros-funded activist group Indivisible.

One such demonstration — titled “Shut down Billionaire’s Lane, NO KINGS!” — was reportedly scheduled for Saturday in Southampton, not far from where the Soros-Abedin wedding took place, according to local outlet PIX11. Some of the wedding’s attendees made their way out to the ritzy Long Island summer destination via private jet, according to the NYT.

The board of Open Society Foundations, a major Soros philanthropic organization, elected Alex Soros — who describes himself as “more political” than his father — as chairman in December 2022, a position that George Soros said his younger son “earned,” according to a June 2023 report by The Wall Street Journal. The younger Soros has met with numerous high-profile Democrats to discuss issues that the foundation is involved in.

Alex Soros and Abedin announced their engagement in July 2024. Abedin was previously married to former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York, whose political career ended after he sent explicit photos to a minor.
