National Nurses Week runs from May 6 – May 12
During this time, several restaurants are offering deals, discounts and freebies to nurses who show a valid ID
Restaurants offering deals include Chipotle, Buffalo Wild Wings, Insomnia Cookies and Tim Hortons
Nurses can cash in on some sweet deals this week!
To celebrate National Nurses Week, a week dedicated to recognizing the contributions of nurses year-round, several restaurant businesses are offering deals and discounts to working nurses — some of which are a steal.
Buffalo Wild Wings
The chicken chain is offering a 20% discount on food items for any nurses who plan dine-in or order their meals from the restaurant at home.

Logan’s Roadhouse
Logan’s is offering the same 20% discount as Buffalo Wild Wings.
Mod Pizza
Mod Pizza is offering a buy-one, get-one pizza for nurses from May 5-8 in stores. Nurses may also get some free add-ons to their meals.
Potbelly
At the sandwich chain, nurses can get a free cookie or regular-sized fountain drink when they purchase an entrée through May 11.

Dunn Brothers Coffee
Nurses who want to start off their day with a coffee, tea or beverage, can cash in on a two-for-one deal at Dunn Brothers Coffee. They can buy two medium coffee-based drinks for $10.
Scooter’s Coffee and Aroma Joe’s
Nurses can get a free medium drink on May 6 and 24-ounce drink on May 7, respectively.
Smoothie King
Nurses can cash in for 20% off their order between May 6 – May 8.

Tim Hortons
Nurses can use a buy-one, get-one deal on doughnuts or buy a dozen donuts and get six free.
Insomnia Cookies
Nurses can also participate in a buy-one, get-one-free deal at the cookie chain on Classic cookies between May 5 — 11.
For most of these deals, nurses will need to show a valid ID in order to opt in. Also the deals may be limited to one per valid ID, according to the restaurants.

Chipotle
The chain will be giving away entrée e-cards to healthcare professionals who enter for a chance to win on May 12 through their respective websites, per USA Today.

The healthcare professionals would still need to verify their employment status within 48 hours through a link, but once that is completed, they will receive a free entrée e-card. They will begin being notified on May 13, per the outlet. This was previously rolled out during Teacher Appreciation Week in April, as well.
“Teachers and healthcare professionals are such important members of the communities we serve,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer of Chipotle, in a news release, per USA Today. “To express our gratitude, we’re scaling up our recognition efforts and launching our largest free burrito giveback program in history.”
National Nurses Week runs from Tuesday, May 6 – Monday, May 12. According to the American Nurse’s Association, “these permanent dates enhance planning and position National Nurses Week as an established recognition event.”
