Elvira star Cassandra Peterson continues to delight her fans as she heads back to her home state for a Fan Expo appearance.
The cult icon announced her upcoming appearance with a high school yearbook photo. In it, the Elvira, Mistress of the Dark star looks much different with pin-straight hair parted down the middle and a serious look on her face.
The black and white photo was labeled “Class of ’69,” and Peterson looked a lot different back then, before she was a horror movie icon with her all-black clothing and spooky makeup.

In the caption, she wrote, “Colorado fans! @fanexpodenver Looking forward to visiting my home state! July 4th – 5th (Fri & Sat).”
Peterson was born in Manhattan, Kansas, but moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, when she was seven years old and grew up there.
