When it comes to the many dramas on television, they all have one thing in common: The women on them are dominating the conversation.

Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Niecy Nash-Betts (“Grotesquerie”), Kaitlin Olson (“High Potential”), Nicole Brydon Bloom (“Paradise”) and Ellen Pompeo (“Good American Family”) opened up about their careers during the Variety FYC TV Fest’s “Women Who Wow” panel, moderated by Emily Longeretta.

During the discussion, the actors shared which kind of shows they’re watching to relax after a long day of work.

“I love murder, so I turn to true crime to relax. They say that makes me a weirdo, but I don’t care,” said Nash-Betts, who also added that she and her wife are watching “Handmaid’s Tale.” She then shared what other content she watches to ease her mind. “Am I the only one who likes watching myself? Is it me? I don’t mean this some kind of way, but I really am a fan of myself. I go back and rewatch shows that I’m on. I’m like, ‘Girl, you did that!’”

Olson says she doesn’t “go back and purposefully watch” herself, but since her 14-year-old is watching “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” she doesn’t turn away. “He loves it so much. When he was little, he used to sneak scripts. We’d find them in his room,” she said. “Now he’s watching it and Rob [McElhenney] and I find ourselves standing [and watching]. I’m making dinner and I’m like, ‘Don’t turn away, I’m about to say something!’”

Moss, for her part, admitted that while she’s not watching “Handmaid’s Tale,” she does watch someone else on the panel. “I tend to watch more comedy, honestly, because I make more drama. So when you’re doing something like that every day, it’s not something you necessarily wanna watch when you go home, so I love a good comedy, a good half hour. And then also, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ — but it’s not always so soothing!”

Pompeo added, “It’s definitely not comforting when I hear it on in the other room, and I walk by and my kids are watching and asking me, ‘Mommy, why are your panties on the bulletin board?’ ‘Those aren’t my panties, those are Meredith’s panties!’” Although she’s not watching something light either: “I know it’s awful, I’ve been watching the news. Like a true actor, I love to punish myself. I love torture. I revel in it. I get off on it. I don’t understand. It is like a trainwreck drama that we’re watching that never ends.”

For Brydon Bloom, it’s all about the old school comfort shows, like “The Office,” “Modern Family” and “Parks and Rec.” But her latest addition is “The Traitors.” She added, “I was never into reality shows and my husband was like, ‘We gotta start. And we did, and now I love it!”
