One of the most defining rock acts of the ’90s is unquestionably Pearl Jam. Being considered one of the “big four” of the grunge scene, the band have left their mark on music history with tracks like Even Flow and Black.
One of the most iconic voices of the nineties comes from Pearl Jam, and that is lead singer, Eddie Vedder. His voice has become synonymous with grunge, and his presence as the band’s front-man has led the band to years of success, even up to this day.
At a recent show in Nashville, Vedder, who was sporting a new guitar, revealed a special connection he and the rest of the band have to another notable rocker of the ’90s.
“This is my new guitar given to me by Mr. Jack White, another future hall of famer. He’s such a great human.”
It’s cool to see these two iconic musicians bonding over their art. Fans of the two agreed, leaving their thoughts in the comments.
One fan enthusiastically wrote, “Jack White & Eddie make me SO happy! Both have brought so much joy to my life with their music!!”
Another fan writes, “Sweet new rig! Eddie & Jack = two of my favorites.”
Putting it as simply as possible, a fan called it as it is.
“Sick🔥.”
It seems that whether you’re an average fan, or a legendary musician, music brings people together, creates friendships, and makes people happy.
Pearl Jam will play another show in Nashville tonight at 7:30. I’m sure the energy will be just as great.
