Dylan Dreyer spent a special day with her son!
On Friday, August 8, the meteorologist, 44, shared a few snaps from her “awesome day” on the Today set with her son Calvin. In the first picture, the mother-son duo posed with legendary actor Christopher Lloyd. Another showed the 8-year-old shaking the hand of the Back to the Future alum, 86. The last snap showed Calvin pointing to his name on the Today signature wall.
“GREAT SCOTT!! What an awesome day to take Calvin to work!! @todayshow” the proud mom captioned her post.

The Today co-host is mom to sons Russell (Rusty), 3, Oliver (Ollie), 4, and Calvin (Cal), who she shares with ex Brian Fichera.
On Sunday, July 27, Dreyer shared pictures from her family golf outing with her son Calvin and Fichera, 38. In the Instagram post, Dreyer included a selfie with her and her son as well as another picture with her, the 8-year-old and her estranged husband. The boy mom ended the post with a snap of the scorecard, showing that the mother-son duo narrowly beat Fichera.
“Figured out how to do better at @acchampionship … team up with Calvin for a best ball!” she wrote. “My buddy gets to join us on the course now!”
Reflecting on motherhood in 2022, Dreyer told her colleagues that she feels “so complete” with her boys. Shortly after, she announced that she would be stepping away from appearing on Weekend Today to spend more time with her family.
“It’s all about family time,” she said on the air. “These boys are my whole life and Brian and I, we love being a team on weekends and spending as much time as we can with them and having as much fun as we can.”

In December, Dreyer shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram celebrating her son’s 8th birthday, which included a sweet snap of the birthday boy and his homemade Boston Bruins cake. In her caption, Dreyer shared how far she’s come in her confidence as a mother since welcoming her oldest son.
“How are you 8???? I remember the day you were born…I never thought I’d be a good mom,” Dreyer wrote in her caption. “Now I’m making homemade layer cakes with the Bruins logo and ice skating with 3 boys. It’s what Cal wanted and I will give these boys the world. Happy birthday buddy!!!”
In the first slide of her carousel, Cal is seen smiling as he posed by a slice of his cake, which featured yellow and black tiers and a Bruins logo on top. The proud mom also shared photos of her making the cake, as well as a video of Cal going ice skating.
