DWTS Pro Gleb Savchenko Makes Bold Statement as He’s Apparently Cut From the Show originally appeared on Parade.
It seems as though Dancing With the Stars Season 34 will be without longtime pro Gleb Savchenko. The ballroom dancer suggested that he won’t be competing on the upcoming season — or maybe not ever again — after something happened that made production unhappy.
Savchenko posted a TikTok on August 9 and one fan commented, “Can’t wait to see you on my tv again in September!” While no one expected Savchenko to respond, he seemingly acknowledged that he won’t be on Dancing With the Stars when it returns next month.
“Afraid you won’t,” Savchenko replied, later responding to another comment saying, “not my fault.”
Savchenko hasn’t shared too much information about what may have happened to get him cut from the show, but in another comment, he shared another clue.
“Clock it. Giving that flop reality show zero attention,” one fan commented.
“14 years of loyalty, erased by someone’s lie,” the ballroom pro replied.
Savchenko hasn’t elaborated, but fans believe that this has something to do with his ex-girlfriend — and Season 33 Dancing With the Stars partner, Brooks Nader.
“I’m thinking something happens on Brooks reality show (I think ABC execs will have access to this since it’s Hulu), and it’s something they thought worthy enough to cut Gleb,” one person commented on a Reddit thread that highlighted Savchenko’s comment about “someone’s lie.”
“I mean I still think there’s a chance he’s trolling or this is somehow unrelated to DWTS but it definitely sounds like he’s out and it didn’t end well. Brooks new show is about to launch so I feel like it can’t be a coincidence this is happening now. I wonder if he’s trying to get out ahead of something,” someone else said.

“I know Gleb had a lot of haters, but damn. Am I the only one that’s kind of disappointed that he won’t be back? Sure he’s never won a mirrorball but he is smoking hot and that’s undeniable. Not a single other male pro has the same kind of sex appeal in my opinion,” a third comment read.
Indeed Savchenko has been a part of the Dancing With the Stars family for well over a decade. He’s never won a Mirrorball Trophy.
The full cast announcement for Season 34 will be made on Good Morning America on September 3.
