Like our morning routines, Dunkin’ fans have their go-to drink orders committed to memory. For many of us it’s bound to be an iced coffee with milk and syrup or if you’re like Matt Damon, a native Bostonian Dunkinhead, maybe your beverage is a large regular with cream. But with summer around the corner, the latest off-menu Dunkin’ drink order to make a splash screams tropical vacation energy and it’s earning high praise on social media.

What is the Dunkin’ Mango Lassi Drink Menu Hack?

Content creator @srittyy on TikTok shared a video suggesting viewers to try the Dunkin’ Mango Pineapple Refresher with oat milk, a splash of cream and sweet cold foam. The creator called it a “lighter version of a mango lassi” which is a delicious drinkable Indian yogurt made fresh ripe mangoes blended with dahi (Indian yogurt), sugar and cardamom. The trending order is an off-menu riff on the ways you can order a Dunkin’ Refresher. The menu will only offer that you can try the fruity drink with green tea, sparkling water or lemonade. Adding oat milk and dairy instead of the three offered drink bases will provide a creamy, almost milkshake-like consistency to the refresher, which is why it’s comparable to a mango lassi.

“I just tried yesterday first time after seeing your video, omg! I love it,” one commenter admitted. “Try it with almond milk it’s so good too!!.,” suggested another commenter while a different user said “Add coconut in it I promise its sooo good.”

“That is so good, proclaimed content creator @mangosimp (the most fitting username ever?) in her video trying the drink hack. “This is gonna be my summer drink.”

Even the official Dunkin’ social media content gave its stamp of approval on the customer-driven concoction, commenting “Mango mood: activated 🥭✨” on Rimsha’s video.

How to Order the Dunkin’ Mango Lassi Drink Hack

To get your very own mango lassi drink, Dunkin’ customers can order a medium (or any size) Mango Pineapple Refresher, ask for it with oat milk and add cold foam on top. For extra body, you can also ask for a splash of cream to go in with the oat milk.

What I Thought About the Dunkin’ Mango Lassi Drink Hack

When I asked for this order, the Dunkin’ employee who rang me up looked so puzzled. “Oat milk, with mango?,” she asked and I almost started to wonder if this was a good idea. Once you take a sip, though, you will fully get it. Because the oat milk is light and mild in flavor, it really does taste like you’re drinking a creamy mango yogurt drink. The mango really shines without being too sweet and the pineapple taste sneaks in to make the drink taste a little tropical. I still see myself getting my regular medium iced coffee to kickstart my days but I, too, am a mango simp and I’ll be sure to order this mango lassi drink at Dunkin’ this summer whenever I want a fun drink to sip on by the beach or the pool.
