Leopard print is basically a neutral these days. The leopard skirt has become a wardrobe staple, leopard slingbacks have hit peak popularity, and leopard-print bags have never been hotter. But sometimes, all you need is a little slice of wilderness—not the whole pie. Dua Lipa can attest to this.
In her latest fashion-filled Instagram photo dump, the pop diva repped the print in an unexpected way: on her belt. She wore a chunky pony-hair leopard belt with a large golden buckle—a piece that cinched her chocolate-brown pants.
Up top, Lipa had on a boxy denim jacket with a brown, vintage-inspired wash, from Martine Rose. The outerwear retails for $470, and the “Houdini” singer layered it over a yellow T-shirt with a brown stripe at the neckline and thin stripes in different colors all over. She accessorized only with a golden hair clip and a dainty gold necklace.

“🌼 spring has sprungggg 🌼” Lipa captioned her post. She also included photos of other of her recent fits in the slideshow. One of them consisted of a transparent black top that Lipa expertly layered over a ribbed white tank and a black bra that she left purposefully exposed. She finished the layered look with brown pants, a black belt with an ornate golden buckle, black leather boot heels, black eyeglasses, and a glass of red wine. Also in the slideshow: some dirty martinis.
There are three things we know for sure about Lipa: She can style any look, she does a photo dump like no one else, and she is the life of the party.
