Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, is celebrating her 18th birthday on May 12. Before become a legal adult, Kai shared one last TikTok to close out being 17.
“Last day being 17,” she captioned a post on May 11. In the video, Kai and three of her friends posed and lip synched to Nelly Furtado’s hit single, “Promiscuous.” Kai wore a strapless black dress with black tights and a pair of black booties, while her friends were also dressed in all black outfits.
The TikTok has been viewed more than 1.5 million times and has racked up dozens of comments. The majority of people wanted to let Kai know that they love her granddad — the 47th president of the United States.
“Tell ur grandpa he’s the goat. Much respect for your family,” one person wrote.
“I can’t believe you’re 17 (almost 18) ! You seem so smart and determined ! I think people should take [example] for the education of their children,” someone else said.
“So proud of your family and happy birthday,” a third comment read.
“Thanks for being a great role model for girls of the US and around the world,” a fourth TikTok user added.
Kai has shared a variety of posts on TikTok over the past several months, and her account highlights some of her favorite things — including golf. The oldest grandchild of President Trump, is an avid golfer and is actually quite good. She’s currently a high school student in Florida, but has committed to the University of Miami where she will continue playing golf. In February 2025, Kai inked an endorsement deal with TaylorMade, according to Golfweek.
Kai’s parents are Donald Trump, Jr. and Vanessa Trump, who also have four other kids.
