Sean Suson is continuing to love and honor his wife Dominique McShain after her death.

On Saturday, April 26, the husband of the influencer, who recently died of colon cancer at 21, paid tribute to her in a heartfelt post.

“Our love can never be replicated nor erased, you will forever be a part of me, though I may never see you in the physical world, I know our spirits will meet again,” he captioned a 20-photo Instagram carousel.

The start to his post showed them walking along a beach together, watching a sunset.

“Life’s too short to love you the way I wanted to, but I promise I’ll find you in the next one. Maybe then we’ll have the time we didn’t get in this life—to grow together, and to build everything we talked about,” Suson wrote. “Until then, I’ll carry you with me in everything I do.”

Though much of the upload contained Suson and McShain together, there were also many photos of just her.

One video showed her singing as she played a guitar, and another showed McShain smiling in her wedding gown.

“Thank you for your trust, your love and for letting me hold your heart and take care of you,” Suson continued.

There were photos of them vacationing with each other, pictures of them dancing, and one of them sharing a kiss.

“Rest in peace, my beloved Dominique,” he concluded.

Those familiar with McShain’s cancer diagnosis and journey shared condolences and support in Suson’s comment section.

“As a cancer patient myself, I had the chance to briefly exchange with Dominique through TikTok. I admire her strength and courage throughout her fight,” one person said, in part.

Another added, “I am so sorry for the loss of your precious wife. It was an honour to know her, even just through TikTok. In a few more blinks of your eyes, you’ll be together again.”

PEOPLE confirmed McShain’s death on April 23.

The influencer was diagnosed with incurable colon cancer in April 2024. The severity of her condition forced her to stop attending college and working.

On April 6, just weeks before her death, McShain shared an emotional message revealing she was nearing the end of her life with “only a few days to a few weeks to live.”

“My life may be short, but I genuinely think I’ve squeezed every bit out of it. I won the lottery with a family that loves me unconditionally, friends who would 10000% donate a liver to me or do anything they could,” she said.

“Recently, I’ve been picturing Heaven often — a place where l’ll finally be free from the pain that’s been with me for so long. I imagine myself without the constant suffering, no longer needing medication just to survive the day. I’ll be able to run, to breathe, to feel whole.”
