Dolores Catania isn’t afraid to share her thoughts about her Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates!

During the May 5 episode of theTwo Ts In A Podpodcast, hosted by Bravo personalities Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, Catania said she does not have an update about when RHONJ will start filming again. The Bravo series, which premiered in 2009, has been on “pause” following the show’s 14th season. Catania noted that it has been “a long time now” since RHONJ cameras were put down.

Catania also shared that she came to a realization about her RHONJ castmates after watching several Bravo shows to help Mellencamp and Judge do recaps for their podcast.

“We filmed hard. And I look at it, now that I’m invested in this abyss that you put me into, I realized that maybe we didn’t have to go so hard. Maybe people should have pulled back a little bit,” said Catania during the podcast interview.

She clarified that she “did try to tell” her castmates to behave differently.

“I really did try to keep it going,” said Catania.

In addition, she referenced that Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga have feuded for several years on RHONJ.

“We’ve had the same story for 14 years. Melissa and Teresa fighting,” said Catania on the Two Ts In A Pod episode.

In addition, Catania agreed with Judge when she said fans “get sick of” unresolved fights on Bravo shows. Catania also noted that some Bravo stars, like Real Housewives of Atlanta personalities Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora, have moved on from their issues instead of holding a grudge.

Catania, who joined RHONJ in season 7, spoke about the possibility of not returning to RHONJ in an August 2024 interview on Jeff Lewis Live. She said that even if her contract is not renewed, she intends to stay in good standing with Bravo and NBC.

“I’ve always said no matter how our expiration date happens, because everyone has an expiration date, as a ‘Housewife’ it is not a forever thing, I would leave gracefully. With a lot of gratitude. Because this has done so much for me,” said Catania during the interview.
