The rapper—and fashion rule breaker—sat courtside to to watch the Chicago Sky go up against the Phoenix Mercury in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday. Making the WNBA night a girls’ night, Doechii brought her mom and a friend, and they all coordinated in elevated, sporty fits.
The “DENIAL IS A RIVER” singer opted for a slouchy gray suit composed of a long, loose blazer with little gold buttons, and oversize trousers that she folded up at the ankles. She styles the set with long white ribbed socks and chunky green, yellow, and red Nike sneakers for a business-meets-street style fit. Doechii accessorized with her go-to skinny, rectangular eyeglasses and a pair of extra-large gold hoop earrings. Slicked back braids, a long white-and-yellow manicure, pink blush, and a glossy lip completed her courtside look.
“Doechii is stupid creative,” her stylist, Sam Woolf, told Harper’s Bazaar last year. “She has a vision and she knows exactly what she wants—but it’s always very collaborative. I’ll tell her an idea and she’ll say whether or not she sees the vision. In the last four or five months, we’ve really created this aesthetic and mood board and have been bouncing ideas off of each other for this preppy office siren world.”
