Look around — it’s Bey and her crew!

As expected, the Cowboy Carter stadium tour went out with a bang. Beyoncé staged several big surprises for the last of her 32 performances, but the biggest by far was a reunion of the iconic ’90s girl group that started it all: Destiny’s Child.

Midway through her closing performance at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Saturday night, the singer disappeared beneath the stage as “Independent Woman” blared over the speakers. When she reemerged, fans were stunned to see Beyoncé strut back out flanked by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

“Destiny’s Child, bitch,” Queen Bey told the crowd. Together, the group then performed their 2005 hit “Lose My Breath.” Rowland and Williams also stuck around to help Bey out with her Renaissance banger “Energy,” with the ladies nailing the “mute challenge” as one.

“Look around, everybody on mute,” Beyoncé began, and then after a pause gestured to Rowland and Williams as she sang, “Look around, it’s me and my crew!”

Usually, not complying with the challenge’s unofficial rule to pipe down carries a price of intense public shaming — but for the Destiny’s Child reunion, the crowd at large struggled to contain themselves. Rowland even made a joke about it, putting a finger to her lips in a shh gesture and playfully mouthing, “Shut up.”

Afterwards, the trio performed their 2001 anthem “Bootylicious.”

As the D3 reunion ended, Beyoncé told the crowd, “Give it up for Destiny’s Child!” At the same moment, the camera swung around to her daughter Blue Ivy just in time for her “Déjà Vu” dance solo.

Destiny’s Child broke out in the 1990s with Knowles, Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. The group later became a trio when Robertson and Luckett exited and Williams joined. They quickly garnered even more success before going their separate ways in 2006. They have remained close friends, recently reuniting for the opening night of Williams’ latest Broadway show, the musical version of Death Becomes Her.

However, an onstage reunion hasn’t occurred since Beyoncé brought the ladies out for her 2018 Coachella performance, in which they sang several of their classics.

The closing Cowboy Carter performance also included an appearance from Shaboozey, who joined Beyoncé to perform their duet, “Sweet Honey Buckin’.” Bey’s husband, Jay-Z, stepped out as well, joining forces with her for their collab “Crazy in Love” and then launching into his own 2011 hit “N—-s in Paris.”

Beyoncé kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with a 39-song set list. The just-wrapped nine-city tour spanned the U.S. and Europe, with the July 26 performance marking its grand finale.
