More than 20 years after Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle hit theaters, Demi Moore is opening up about what it was like to film her iconic bikini scene while chatting with one of her costars in the movie, Drew Barrymore.

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, May 13, Moore, 62, said that she’d been taking a break from work to be with daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallula Willis when she was offered the role of Madison Lee in the movie, but her kids begged her to take it.

She decided she wanted her girls to see the “full expression” of her acting career, but there was one thing she was a bit insecure about: filming a bikini scene with only three weeks notice.

The fact that Moore was 40 at the time also ended up putting the “focus” on that particular scene once the movie hit theaters, which is something she said she “wasn’t prepared for.”

“I had no idea the amplification, ironically, that was specifically tied to my age,” she said.

Here’s the original scene from the movie — and proof that Moore never had anything to worry about, since she looked so amazing:

It turns out her daughters were right about pushing their mom to do this role. In the end, it became one that fans still talk about today.
