Authorities in Washington, D.C. are gearing up for a day-long festival to celebrate the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary on Saturday, June 14.

The festival, full of music, fireworks and a fitness competition, will conclude with a parade at 6:30 p.m. ET in the heart of Washington, D.C. The day of pomp and circumstance also coincides with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.

Several major roads, expressways and bridges will be closed to vehicle traffic during the day – and some have already been shuttered this week. Here’s what to know about parking and road closures in Washington, D.C. for Saturday’s military parade.
