Stars from Beyond the Gates, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Bold & the Beautiful, and The Young & the Restless are coming together to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The work done at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fight and treat childhood cancers and other childhood diseases is life saving. The hospital strives to take care of the entire family, not just their patients, and they do it at no cost to the families. It is a very worthy cause supported almost entirely by donations and stars from all five daytime soaps are coming together to help them.
Lily Brooks O’Briant, who plays Lucy on The Young & the Restless, is organizing a one night concert event featuring some of your favorite soap stars singing their hearts out for St. Jude. “This night is about coming together to give back,” O’Briant told Soaps, “As performers, we are honored to use our voices in a way that helps bring hope to children and families who need it most.”
The Daytime at Night – A Benefit for St. Jude is on Thursday, May 29 at The Troubadour in West Hollywood. Bradford Anderson who plays Spinelli on General Hospital will share hosting duties with, Days of our Lives stars Cherie Jimenez, who plays Gabi, and Galen Gering, who plays Rafe, Mike Manning, who plays Smitty on Beyond the Gates, and The Bold and the Beautiful’s Lawrence Saint-Victor, who plays Carter.
Scheduled to perform are The Day Players: Carson Boatman (Johnny DOOL), Wally Kurth (Justin DOOL, Ned GH), Brandon Barash (ex-Stefan DOOL) and Eric Martsolf (Brady DOOL), as well as GH’s Anderson, Tabyana Ali (Trina), Carolyn Hennesy (Diane), and Josh Kelly (Cody), Days’ Elia Cantu (Jada), Y&Rs’ O’Briant, Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Nathan Owens (Holden) and Loren Lott (ex-Ana), Beyond the Gates’ Karla Mosley (Dani) and Bold’s Annika Noelle (Hope).
Chris McKenna, who plays Jack Brennan on General Hospital, will be on hand to lend his support to the cause.
More talent is expected to be announced before the concert. The doors will open at 7 pm and the show will start at 7:30. Tickets are available here and if can’t attend but would still like to support this wonderful cause with a donation you can do so here.
