After teasing a new collaboration for days, the country music star finally let his fans know who he’s been teaming up with lately—and some people are already calling it their “dream collab.”

In a new Instagram post on Monday, March 12, McCreery revealed that his new song features none other than Hootie & the Blowfish.
For the new track, titled “Bottle Rockets,” McCreery, 31, teamed up with the beloved Darius Rucker-led band, and fans will finally be able to listen to their new collab as soon as Thursday, May 15.

“Teamed up with my friends @hootieofficial for our new song Bottle Rockets 🎆” the American Idol winner announced in his post on Monday. “Out everywhere this THURSDAY at 12p ET!”
Fans were instantly hyped-up over the “This Is It” crooner’s exciting announcement, including one fan on Instagram who is already predicting “Bottle Rockets” will be the “song of the summer.”
“Absolutely a huge hit!!!! 👏👏🔥🔥” someone else wrote in the comments.
“I’m dying right now, my two favorite artists together. This is incredible,” one fan added, while another user called the news a “better collab than I could have possibly imagined!”
