Thomas Rhett left fans crying with laughter over his latest TikTok video, which found the beloved musician dialing up some of his industry besties to wish them well before bed—leaving the bulk of them wildly confused.
The “Die a Happy Man” singer “Just wanted to say goodnight” to his fellow country stars, Jordan Davis, Charles Kelley, Jason Aldean and Russell Dickerson as he took part in a fan-favorite social media trend that has found everyone from distant aquaintances to ex-spouses calling one another to say goodnight on camera.
One by one, Rhett chatted with each singer, hearing about their latest shows or other goings on in their lives before offering up his strange reason for calling—which often left him laughing at himself as his wife, Lauren, scolded him off camera for ruining the joke.
Fans were tickled pink over the silly video, with one dramatically admitting, “Holy hell I’m laughing so hard I about choked to death 🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
“I love how unserious they all are with each other. 😂😂,” another observed, with someone else laughing over Rhett “can’t keep it together 😂😂” during the calls.
“you & Lauren need your own show,” one fan declared of the singer and his wife, loving their energy in the clip.
“the way he cackled at each one 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” one found hysterical.
Others expressed concern for Kelley, with one begging, “Someone check on Charles, he going through it.”
“Not Charles saying ‘I needed that’ 😂😭 Go give that man a hug!” another demanded.
“I feel like Luke Bryan would have the best reaction to this 😂,” somebody else surmised. Hopefully, he’s next up on the list.
