The Debut cocktail from ‘Barbie: The Official Cocktail Book’
THE DEBUT
Barbie first launched at the American International Toy Fair in 1959 as a glamorous “Teen Age Fashion Model.” For her first of over 250 careers, Barbie was dressed in her black-and-white striped swimsuit with a bold red lip, a departure from the baby dolls of the time. This mocktail pays tribute to one of her most iconic looks.

The Ken Collins from ‘Barbie: The Official Cocktail Book’
KEN COLLINS
Since 1961, Ken Carson has been accompanying Barbie on all sorts of adventures — from fun beach days Rollerblading in Malibu, to dazzling dream trips on shimmering ski slopes — they always have a great time together! Nowadays he’s passionate about all things beach related — surfing, sailing, training to be a lifeguard, and maybe even becoming a marine biologist. Ken is reliable and refreshing, just like this riff on the Tom Collins.

The best part is, you choose your favorite way to think pink: add it to the shaker for a bold color throughout or pour the cooled tea on top after mixing the tequila, triple sec, lime, and simple syrup for a fun layered effect!
