The new Chipolo POP is a colorful new tracking tag that works with both Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find My Device networks. Unlike AirTag, it has a built-in hole for easy attachment to keyrings and bags.

Apple announced back in 2020 that it would be opening up its Find My network to third-party trackers, and when it did so the following year Chipolo was the first company to launch an AirTag competitor.
The problem with its existing product line-up, however, was that you had to choose between an Apple-only version which worked with Find My, and a cross-compatible one which required the Chipola app.
The new Chipolo POP is a new model which is natively compatible with both Find My and Android equivalent, with no companion app needed – though you do get additional features through that.
Chipolo POP is a more versatile finder that’s compatible with either the Apple Find My app or Google’s Find My Device app.
Improved hardware includes an extra loud ring, extended range, IP55-rated dust and water resistance, and recycled materials.
All Chipolo key finders are powered by a replaceable coin battery that lasts up to 12 months.
The name likely reflects the more colorful options available in the line-up:
- Blue
- Yellow
- Red
- White
- Green
- Black

Pricing starts at $29, and the POP is compatible with any iPhone running iOS 14.5 or later. They are available individually, and in packs of four or six, the multipacks offering free shipping. Delivery is available from Thursday, and it’s likely they will also be available from the company’s Amazon store by the end of the week.
