There’s nothing like a good summer suit to get us excited for seasonal dressing.
This Wednesday, Colman Domingo brought the joy to New York City in a breezy three-piece suit in a light, creamy peach. The look consisted of a sharp suit jacket, long shorts, and a breezy blouse that he left partly unbuttoned to create a plunging neckline. Domingo continued the monochrome with a peach tie, which he wrapped around his neck but didn’t tie—as if to say: The formalities are over, and the party’s just getting started.
The Sing Sing star paired his peachy summer suit with beige suede booties with wooden block heels, which he wore with long white socks. The rest of his accessories were just as cool: a cream Valentino Garavani Vain crossbody bag with a gold chain strap, metal-frame shades, gold hoop earrings, a chunky gold chain necklace, and a silver watch. Talk about mixing metals the right way.
Domingo wore the happy fit to make an appearance at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
He even graced us with a fun dancing TikTok in the fit.
But for his on-camera interview, he changed into an electric lemon-yellow ensemble (see it here). And to leave the show, he changed yet again, into a white ribbed tank, straight-leg jeans, mustard-yellow velvet loafers worn with white socks, and Valentino Garavani’s Nellcôte shopping bag in black with silver studs. He accessorized with a brown belt, his shades, and his array of gold and silver jewelry.
