Fox announced their fall schedule going into their upfront presentation to advertisers in May, with both “Cleaning Lady” and “Alert” in limbo at that time. The two shows now join fellow Fox drama “Rescue: Hi-Surf” on the chopping block.

The medical drama “Doc” has also been renewed for a second season, while Fox has picked up the one-hour comedy “Best Medicine,” dramatic thriller “Memory of a Killer,” and the multi-part scripted event “The Faithful.”

“The Cleaning Lady” was based on the Argentine fornat “La chica que limpia.” Élodie Yung led the cast of “Cleaning Lady” as Thony, a former surgeon now living as an undocumented immigrant in the U.S. with her son, who has a rare medical condition. After witnessing a murder, Thony is offered a job both as a cleaner and a doctor within a criminal organization .

Along with Young, the cast included Martha Millan, Kate Del Castillo, Santiago Cabrera, Khalen Roman Sanchez, Faith Bryant, and Sean Lew. The series was produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment. Daniel Cerone served as showrunner and executive producer of Season 4. Timothy Busfield, Eddie Serrano and Rose Marie Vega also serve as executive producers on the series. Melissa Carter, Miranda Kwok, and Shay Mitchell were executive consultants.

“Alert: Missing Persons Unit” was a procedural set in the Philadelphia Police Department’s titular missing persons unit. Scott Caan, Dania Ramirez, Adeola Role, Ryan Broussard, and Alisha-Marie Ahamed starred.

The series was co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment. Carla Kettner served as showrunner and executive producer. Jon Cowan, Brandon Sonnier, Brandon Margolis, Sean Hennen, John Eisendrath, Jamie Foxx, Datari Turner and Brad Turner were also executive producers. Foxx co-created the series with Eisendrath.
