Claudia Schiffer stripped down to her birthday (swim)suit in honor of turning 55.
On Aug. 25, the supermodel celebrated getting older with an Instagram post featuring a series of sexy swimsuit photos taken poolside.
The snapshots show the ’90s influencer clad in a white $890 Chloé one-piece swimsuit with frilly hemlines, a plunging V-neck and floral eyelet embellishments all over. It also appears to be a rewear from Schiffer’s recent summer campaign with the fashion label.
She styled the flirty swimwear with long gold necklaces, brown sunglasses and even transformed a chic chartreuse towel into a sarong of sorts wrapped around her waist.
Schiffer went all-natural with her glam, keeping her famous hair down and wavy and her skin hydrated with Rhode’s Lemontini Peptide Lip Tint, which adorned her phone case.
“55 today, so lucky to have a happy and healthy birthday!!” Schiffer captioned the post, which received well-wishes from her friends Christy Turlington and designer Donatella Versace.

Schiffer has been influencing swimwear fashion since before the early aughts and her looks have been an inspiration to many, including Kylie Jenner.
Back in May, the makeup mogul modeled a 1995 studded Chanel bikini that Schiffer modeled on the runway 30 years ago. Jenner loved the look so much that she bought it in two colorways, the second of which she modeled in 2024, which Schiffer praised.
Ahead of her 55th birthday, Schiffer spoke with PEOPLE about her evolving fashion sense, after it had become miniaturized on her very own Barbie doll.
“I’d describe my personal style as quite instinctive. I choose outfits that feel effortless without rules. For me, individuality and self-expression are what matter. I do love going back through my wardrobe archive; I still wear old favorites and have a whole treasure trove from the ’90s. Each of those moments stands for a very special memory. I hope my daughters [Clementine, 20, and Cosima, 15] will continue to bring these special pieces into the future as well.”

In 2020, Schiffer spoke with Country & Town House about turning 50. “I think age should be celebrated and revered. There’s a reason we have cakes and parties on our birthdays, and I feel the same way about getting older each year. I am so happy to be turning 50 and have never felt more confident or happy in my life. I don’t try to look or feel younger, I embrace now.”
