Donatella Versace brought back several friends of the Versace brand to close out her nearly 30-year chapter at the helm. On July 3, the brand unveiled the images for its latest campaign — the last with Donatella as the head of the fashion house, as she will officially step aside as the brand’s chief creative officer to become its chief brand ambassador.
Versace marked the end of one of fashion’s most defining eras by including multiple iconic supermodels in the campaign, including Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Anok Yai, Kristen McMenamy, Amber Valletta and more.
In a press release, Donatella, 70, said the “energy” on the campaign was “extraordinary.”

“It was all about friendship, loyalty, and love. These images were created to celebrate the soul of the Versace woman,” she added. “Her strength, her spirit, her attitude, and her heart. Every collection is a story, and this campaign is the story of Versace. Inspiring the present and anticipating the future.”
Natasha Poly, Saskia de Brauw, Liu Wen, Mica Argañaraz, Mila Van Eeten and Jacqui Hooper are also featured in the campaign, which was captured by long-standing collaborators Mert and Marcus.

According to Versace, the campaign functions as “a powerful dialogue between FW25 and archival dresses—iconic, definitively Versace silhouettes, formed of the House’s signature metallic mesh.”
Donatella took over Versace following the 1997 murder of her brother Gianni Versace and has since been instrumental in shaping the label’s identity in the modern era. Her tenure saw the brand expand its global reach while staying true to its signature bold, glamorous and unapologetically sexy aesthetic.
