Cinnabon is celebrating its 40th anniversary by offering customers a throwback deal and a nostalgic accessory.
The company said in an Aug. 12 news release that it is offering Cinnabon Rewards Members a Classic Cinnamon Roll for $1.25, the original price from when the brand opened in 1985. Rewards members can visit participating Cinnabon bakeries on Friday, Aug. 22, from noon to 4 p.m. local time to take advantage of the offer.
“For four decades, Cinnabon has been delighting fans with the world’s most irresistible treat— and it all started with the iconic Classic Cinnamon Roll,” said Urvi Patel, chief brand officer at Cinnabon, in the news release. “As we mark our 40th Birthday, we’re celebrating the timeless craveability of Cinnabon and the source of countless sweet memories for our fans.”
To join Cinnabon Rewards, customers can visit cinnabon.com/rewards. New members will receive a free 4-count BonBite offer with any purchase upon joining.

Cinnabon unveils Bon Backpack
Additionally, the brand unveiled a limited-edition, 1980s-style insulated backpack designed to keep Cinnabon treats warm on the go, called a Bon Backpack.
“With its custom insulated pocket, perfectly created to fit your favorite Cinnabon treats, this nostalgic accessory allows fans to carry their favorite treat in style,” the company said in the news release. The backpack is available at swag.cinnabon.com for $40 while supplies last.
