Ciara shared a video on Instagram in which she showed off her stretch marks from carrying her four children.
“This moment is about dropping our ‘skinhibitions’–you all know I am a mom of my precious four babies and they have blessed me with these stretch marks,” she said in a video.
Ciara is mother to kids Future, Sienna, Win, and Amora.
Ciara is embracing her body—stretch marks and all. In a new Instagram post, the singer revealed that she was working on a new project that was all about letting go of insecurities and embracing the body as it is. “We all have moments when we don’t feel great about our skin–I’m no different,” she wrote in the caption. “I’ve been seeing SO many conversations lately feeling like we have to cover up or hide… What holds you back from showing your skin?”

In a video, Ciara wore a beige tracksuit zipped down to create a v-neck, along with a few statement gold necklaces and stacked bangles. She spoke about her own personal “skinhibitions” in a little more detail. “This moment is about dropping our ‘skinhibitions’–you all know I am a mom of my precious four babies and they have blessed me with these stretch marks,” she said, as she pulled aside her sweatpants to reveal a few small lines on the side of her hips. “And I’m like, ‘Why am I gonna cover up when I can show off?’”
The singer went on to sing a rendition of the kids’ song “The Hokey Pokey” as she celebrated “dropping her ‘skinhibitions.’”

Ciara spoke openly about her body and insecurities
Ciara welcomed her first child, Future, in 2014 with her then-fiancé Future. She went on to marry Russell Wilson in 2016, and the couple welcomed three more children: Sienna in 2017, Win in 2020, and Amora in 2023.
Since becoming a mother, Ciara has always approached her body with kindness, giving herself time to recover without putting pressure on herself to look a certain way. “I think it’s about letting things be organic,” Ciara told us back in 2014. “You should set some goals and you should set up a plan to achieve your goal then just dial it in, but I don’t think you should overthink the process of getting there. You’ve got to have fun and enjoy being a mom.”
