Christina Hendricks gave her fans a special present on May 22 when she revealed the premiere date for Season 2 of her popular TV series, The Buccaneers.
The actress shared a promotional image for the show on Instagram, simply writing in the caption, “Season two June 18th!!!! @thebuccaneersappletv.”

Fans have been patiently waiting for news of when the show is coming back with new episodes ever since it was renewed for Season 2 back in late 2023. Now that fans finally know the official premiere date, they couldn’t hold back their excitement.

“Yayayayayyyyyy!!!!!” wrote one thrilled fan, while another exclaimed, “I AM SEATED š and a couple of weeks after my birthday? BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!”

Along with the release date, a trailer for The Buccaneers Season 2 has also been released. The clip shares a look at the romance and drama set to unfold in the second season, along with a first look at actress Leighton Meester‘s role in the show.
