Christina Haack Runs Into Major Travel Mishap Ahead of Paris Trip: ‘FML’

Christina Haack is documenting a major travel mishap she experienced before traveling to Paris this week.

The Flip Off star, 42, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 30, to detail the process of getting a passport replacement after she seemingly lost the travel document right before her trip.

“When waiting for my lost (fml) passport replacement.. First time at an [Erewhon] so of course it’s the ‘Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze’ smoothie,” she captioned a photo of herself holding smiling and holding the pink blended drink.

In the photo, Haack donned an all-black outfit with sunglasses and a hat to match.

The next slide shows the designer successfully getting her new passport just in time to jet off to Paris.

“Thank you to the two angels at the L.A. passport agency,” she wrote.

In the shot, she shows off her brand-new passport as she holds it in front of her face.

“Coming for my Paris crew,” she added, along with a red heart, crying and prayer hands emoji.

She then documented her much less stressful experience as she waited to board her flight.

The Christina on the Coast star snapped a quick photo of her meal and glass of bubbly as she relaxed in a lounge at the airport.

However, the trip already seemed to come with some ups and downs, as she shared an “odd” moment she experienced when she finally got to her destination,

In the video, she walks down the sidewalk as a man with a camera appears to follow her and tries to take her picture.

In the background, Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” is playing.

“Always an odd feeling,” she wrote over the clip, adding a funny quote that her 14-year-old daughter Taylor once told her: “Mom, aren’t you not even that popular.”

Along with Taylor, Haack shares son Brayden, 9, with her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. She’s also mom to 5-year-old son Hudson, whom she shares with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead.

While she has yet to share the reason for her travels this time around, Haack is a frequent traveler to the European city.

In October, she marked her first visit there by sharing a series of photos and videos to her Instagram Stories and noted how it was a “bucket list” destination for her. The trip came three months after she split from her now ex-husband Josh Hall.

Haack later visited the city again in February with her boyfriend Christopher Larocca, where the two enjoyed a romantic getaway together and shared a kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower.

She also traveled to France earlier this year to work on her upcoming champagne line called Clé Cachée.

While announcing the news on Instagram in January, she noted how she had been “waiting my whole life for this” as an avid champagne lover, and tagged her location as Reims, France.

“When making your own champagne you must go to the source…” she wrote in another slide alongside a photo of herself smiling with some wine glasses in front of her.

According to the brand’s official Instagram account, the product is set to launch in fall 2025.
