Chris Stapleton is being praised for a surprise appearance.
The country superstar joined Sesame Street for a special sing-along that tickled audiences of all ages.
In the now-viral clip, the “Broken Halos” crooner gets an introduction from Elmo and Abby Cadabby, who reveal that he’s teaching them all “about music and friends.”
Stapleton, sitting on a stoop, replies, “That’s right, Abby,” before taking to his guitar and singing, “Music is the sound of your friends, gathering round, and the smiles and the frowns on their faces.”
The Sesame Street characters then join in, lending their vocals to the tune, before Bert and Ernie also chime in.
“You’ve got a friend in music. Thank you, Mr. @chrisstapleton for singing along with us. We love you!💛🎶💚” the Instagram caption read.
