Children’s Media Company Totoy Signs with Gersh, Sets ‘José Totoy’ Feature Film

Totoy Corp., the children’s media company behind the animated series “José Totoy” and “Sara,” has signed with Gersh. Known for blending entertainment with education, Totoy has become a “leading force” in children’s entertainment in Latin America and Brazil and is seeking to bring its storytelling to children and families worldwide.

“This partnership marks a significant step in Totoy’s mission to inspire and educate children worldwide,” said Totoy Corp CEO and co-founder André Vaz. “With Gersh’s expertise, we’re excited to bring our stories to new audiences and continue our commitment to meaningful children’s entertainment. We look forward to expanding our stories to inspire even more young minds worldwide.”

Founded in 2015 by André Vaz and Isa Albuquerque, Totoy has a portfolio of content including its flagship series, “José Totoy,” which is available in over 30 languages. The series has charted in the top 10 most-watched children’s shows on Prime Video in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Chile, and in Netflix’s global top 10.

Totoy’s plans for expansion include meetings at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival aimed at “bringing ‘José Totoy’ to audiences worldwide and solidifying Totoy’s place as a global leader in children’s media,” according to a press release.
