Chick-fil-A may have its origins in Georgia, but there is one thing that the beloved fast food chain developed outside of its home state.
The University of Oklahoma is home to the “only all-you-care-to-eat Chick-fil-A in the world,” according to the school’s website for housing and food services.
“Get the sandwiches, nuggets and waffle fries you love right here,” the website states. PEOPLE has reached out to Chick-fil-A for comment.

The one-of-a-kind location is part of Couch Restaurants — an “all-you-care-to-eat venue,” considered the university’s “largest dining operation,” with 14 dining concepts. The special dining hall is attached to a freshman dorm, and not every Chick-fil-A menu item is offered, per Mashed.

The university’s website explains, “you can enjoy a wide variety of foods including stir fry, barbecue, Halal-certified, bold vegan and vegetarian dishes, home cooking, traditional Mediterranean and much more” at the dining venue.
According to The Takeout, the unique Chick-fil-A location joined the dining hall in 2005.
The media company reported that David Annis, the executive director of food services for the university at the time, said that upon its opening that he expected “35 to 45%” of students who frequent the hall to check out the new restaurant.
Students can pay for their all-you-can-eat meals with their meal plan (meals and meal plan points), Sooner Sense, cash, or a credit card, per the housing and food services website.
Although the university offers different meal plans, they are all based on a weekly cycle and reset each Sunday morning at 12:01 a.m., per the university’s website.
“While the meals may reset each week, the set amount of Meal Plan Points you purchase are only available per semester. Meal Points roll over from fall to spring semester, but not from spring to the next fall semester,” the website states.
Mashed explains that while one meal card swipe grants access to the entire center, all food must be eaten inside the diner or left on the premises.
