Chick-fil-A fans, consider your prayers answered.
The iconic chicken chain is almost always testing something new, and if it’s well-received, it will oftentimes eventually release it at all of its locations. And that’s precisely what happened in this latest menu update.
On Thursday, Chick-fil-A announced that it would not only be launching a new seasonal beverage line–which features its first-ever flavored soda, Cherry Berry Sprite–but it’s also bringing its highly sought-after Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich to participating restaurants across the country later this month.
The most loyal CFA fans may remember it tested the sandwiches out last year at select locations in Raleigh, North Carolina, and at the time, fans were hoping the sandwiches would see a larger release. It’s been a long time coming, since April 2024, but they’re finally arriving–and soon.

“We are always looking for ways to surprise our Guests with new and unique menu offerings, and this year’s fall lineup presents even more opportunities for Guests to customize and make them their own,” Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A, said in an Aug. 7 statement. “Our Guests’ demand for bold, fun beverages is only growing and Cherry Berry’s return, now with a bubbly twist, brings something fresh and unexpected to our lineup. The Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich offers the perfect complement: it’s savory with layers of flavor that feel indulgent, yet distinctly Chick-fil-A.”
According to an official description, the new sandwich features a toasted pretzel bun, lettuce, sliced tomato, cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and a side of Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce. Guests have the option to customize their filet with one of three options: original, spicy, or grilled.
It will be available at participating Chick-fil-A locations, alongside the Cherry Berry beverage menu, for a limited time beginning on Aug. 18.
